In the southwestern region of Antioquia, Café Aullador cultivates high-quality coffee to fund mountain conservation and the protection of howler monkeys. It is a brand committed to the well-being of the farmers who work with it and guided by a clear purpose: when it fulfills its mission of preserving the reserve, it will know its time has come. This is a brand dedicated to an ecological and social legacy.

Psychoanalysis
Café Aullador already had strong philosophical, ecological, and social beliefs, but these weren’t reflected in its communication or design. Through our conversation with Alejandro, we discovered that there were powerful messages behind the brand — what was missing was giving those beliefs visibility through the brand itself.
3. Strategy
We developed a message and design aligned with those values, preserving the essence of the original logo while incorporating stencil-inspired typefaces, giving the brand an activist and revolutionary feel. We synthesized “AU” as a symbol for gold, representing what the brand values more than money: nature, conservation, and human relationships — while also referencing the howler monkey’s iconic call.
